You don't have to interrupt her or write anything down.
Can ReciKey transcribe a handwritten recipe card?
Yes. Snap a photo of a handwritten or printed recipe card and ReciKey's AI extracts the ingredients and instructions into an editable, structured recipe. You can keep the original photo attached to the recipe so the handwriting is never lost.
Is ReciKey private — who can see my family's recipes?
Your recipes are private to you by default. You choose what to share, and you share it directly with family members you invite — no public feed, no algorithmic discovery, no selling your data. Your culinary heritage stays with your family.

ReciKey is free to start. The Free plan includes unlimited recipes, unlimited family recipe and family-tree sharing, 10 AI transcriptions per month, and 250 MB of cloud storage. The Individual plan ($4.99/month or $49/year) adds 50 AI transcriptions per month and 10 GB of storage. The Family plan ($14.99/month or $129/year) adds 200 shared AI transcriptions per month, 75 GB shared storage, and covers up to 6 family members on a single subscription.
What devices does ReciKey work on?
ReciKey is available now on Android via Google Play, with the iOS version coming soon to the App Store. The app works on phones and tablets and syncs your recipes across devices through your private account.
